Nuclear Medicine/PET
One of the fastest growing medical imaging technologies, Positron Emission Tomography (PET) uses short lived isotopes, typically fluorine-18 and carbon-11, chemically incorporated into a metabolically active molecule.
Instrumentation
LabLogic supplies a broad range of HPLC and TLC analytical equipment used in radiochemical analysis and quality control for PET and nuclear medicine research. Our technical specialists can help you find analytical solutions for your research and production requirements.
The AR-2000 Imaging Scanner has become the industry "gold standard" for analyzing 18F FDG purity. The system provides direct digital counting of all radioisotopes including positron emitters which guarantees quantitative accuracy and reproducibility, providing fast and reliable analyzes.
The Mini-Scan is a versatile TLC scanner for the reliable detection of radioisotopes on narrow strips and plates. The system is ideal for routine quality control of 18F FDG, 99mTc, and 123I radiopharmaceuticals.
Flow-Count is a low-cost radioisotope HPLC detection system which uses specially configured photomultipliers to detect gamma, positron, and high-energy beta emitters at both high and low levels of activity. Flow-Count eliminates the need for fraction collection and scintillation counting and is ideally suited for PET tracer analysis of 18F and 11C.
Software
PETra is a custom-built LIMS for use in PET radiopharmaceutical production. The system provides data collection, storage and reporting for the whole tracer production process, from receipt of raw materials through to product release. As with all LabLogic software products the system is fully configurable at system level to suit your in-house procedures and production methods.
PETra interfaces seamlessly with our Laura radio-chromatography software, which can be used for your data collection and report generation requirements with all of the instruments mentioned above.
