The University Hospital of Umeå is the latest PET facility in Europe to invest in PETra - LabLogic’s dedicated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for PET radiotracer production.

A major hospital in northern Sweden, the University Hospital of Umeå is a teaching university hospital that serves almost 900,000 people.
The Hospital’s Radiology and Diagnostics Department includes its own PET production facility to serve its patients. The facility produces radiopharmaceuticals for use within the hospital as it has one cyclotron and diagnostic PET/CT and PET/MR scanners. Production currently includes 18F-FDG and other radiotracers.
Increasing compliance in PET facilities
