Managing user access in Laura for GLP and regulatory compliance

LabLogic’s Laura software for instrument control and direct data collection is the industry-standard solution for GLP radiochromatography labs and radiopharmacies providing compliance and data integrity for over 300 instruments from LabLogic and other manufacturers to standards defined by FDA 21 CFR part 11.
In the first of a series of training videos covering Laura’s key features, we demonstrate how the software’s Project Membership manages user access and permissions for each project. This is one of many online resources accessible through LabLogic’s Online Training Portal.
A compliant solution for radiochromatography research
Under Project Membership, system managers can see all projects in Laura’s database and assign users to different security levels for each project using drag-and-drop functionality. By assigning access and permissions to select projects only, Laura provides a secure and compliant solution for radiochromatography research. Sites can configure their own security levels but the following are included as default:
- Non-Member users have no access to the selected project.
- Read Only users can read project data but not use the project’s methods.
- Technician users can access some functionalities of the project but is not able to delete, archive, or access all project information.
- Project Director users have access to all project functionalities.
