An Online Radiopharmaceutical Order Communication System

Orla is a designed for efficient online ordering of radiopharmaceuticals directly from customer to radiopharmacy supplier. It can be used as standalone system or with a bi-directional integration to a LIMS solution.

For the customer ordering the radiopharmaceuticals, it provides a simple and effective way to order products, with full visibility and a full audit trail.

For the radiopharmaceutical supplier, it ensures all orders are received on time, with no missing information, and that no transcription errors are added on their part.

  • Full audit trail, with the option to control whether audits are silent, require a reason and/or one or two signatures.

Automated system health checks and system notifications

  • The bi-directional Orla-LIMS Integration Service emails any issues encountered and provides a health check status in the system’s UI.
  • Full log of all integration events held for each order.
  • Supplier can communicate downtime, with system-wide notifications for all customers.

Telix Pharmaceuticals, Europe

Telix Pharmaceuticals has chosen Orla to provide their customers with a simple and secure way of procuring radiopharmaceuticals for administration to patients. Specialising in therapeutics and diagnostics, Telix is a global manufacturer headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, with operations in North America, Japan, and Europe where a new production facility was opened last year in Belgium. Implementation of Orla by Telix is the first use of the system in Europe.

Evergreen Theragnostics, USA

Evergreen Theragnostics is a US-based radiopharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that uses Orla to manage ordering and production. Evergreen was the first ever user of the new software and worked in partnership with LabLogic to develop a practical, working solution that addresses the unique demands of the radiopharmaceutical industry. 

We spoke to Evergreen’s Supply Chain Manager, Nicole Vazquez, about how Orla allows her to successfully manage the company's logistics, providing them with a competitive advantage over other producers who still use outdated and traditional communications for receiving orders such as fax and telephone.
