Production Engineer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

You will be joining our friendly and fun production office located on the Sheffield Business Park where we are responsible for the goods in and out and production for LabLogic.

As a Production Engineer, you will build and test the various instruments we manufacture, from Radio TLC scanners to Radio HPLC detectors and as part of your daily duties, you will visually inspect PCBs.

You will also be required to provide technical support to our service department as well as having to collect and deliver parts from our local and national suppliers, using one of the company vehicles.

Quality Analyst - UK (Bath based)

The Role

This position is located at our Bath office working with the Bath development team and closely with other members of the QA team as well as directly with our Software Developers and Service Engineers. As a software tester you’ll be involved in the final testing of our global leading software products before they are released onto the market, as well as providing feedback from testing performed at key stages throughout the development process.

Your role is integral to the creation of our software systems and instrument functionality tests and as such you’ll be seen as the last line of defence before the software is released.

In addition, there will be the need to perform regulatory controlled software validations for our highly regulated customers, which will be either off the shelf validations or custom-made validations and perform these at the customers’ facilities. Many of our customers who use our software work within drug discover and nuclear medicines and it is advised that possessing a scientific background within these fields. Knowledge of HPLC, GC and other chromatography techniques would be hugely beneficial.

In addition as LabLogic Systems has ISO 9001 accreditation across a number of sites, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take part in conducting internal quality audits across the group. However this is a potential secondary role to the main role of testing software.

Responsibilities

To maintain and perform testing on our software following set that have been created and enhanced over many years and are used prior to release. There will also be testing required relating to new functionality to make sure that it is working as intended and any finding reported back to the developers.

It will be the successful candidate’s responsibility to make sure that the software has been tested thoroughly, correctly and that it is safe to be released.

There are a number of projects that are currently being developed and the ability to adapt and switch between projects is essential. Main responsibilities are

Software Developer - UK (Sheffield Based)

The Role

Do you want to work on software that streamlines the logistics surrounding radiopharmaceuticals for cancer scans?

We are seeking an additional member for our development team to design, develop, and test our Online Order Communications system for nuclear medicine. You will need to be an experienced full-stack Angular/C# .Net developer, and willing to take on challenges to push the product forward.

You would join a passionate, dedicated team and have the ability to make real impact on all aspects of the product from day one, both inside and outside of development.

As a full-stack developer you will be involved with the architecture, design, development, and testing of current and future functionality/products and will participate with the constant improvement of the team’s processes and procedures.

Outside of development there is opportunity to coordinate with our Marketing, Sales, and QA teams, as well as the potential for overseas travel to our customers’ sites for installation. We have a strong customer focus so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about taking ownership and developing the great relationship we have with our users.

 LabLogic Systems, Inc. - US

Field Service Engineer - US (Atlanta or Charlotte Metro based)

The Role

We are looking for an additional field service engineer based in the Atlanta or Charlotte metro areas to join our service team, providing field service, technical support, software support, and user training to our customers. You would primarily work on LabLogic radiodetectors paired with HPLC systems and Hidex scintillation and gamma counters, which are used daily in cutting-edge research across the country and beyond. This is a great opportunity to work with a customer-focused company supporting several of our key, niche product lines. This position will be based out of the hired candidate's home-based office and will require heavy travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific and technical background and will be eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct installation and basic user training of instruments and software
  • Provide preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs
  • Perform validation services (IQ/OQ) of hardware and software
  • Provide technical, and when appropriate, application support
  • Work closely with service management to coordinate schedule and prioritize service needs
  • Record work performed in the service database and prepare service reports in a timely manner

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Engineering/Biology/Chemistry related degree with knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and software
  • At least 3 years professional field engineer experience or laboratory background, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nuclear medicine industry
  • Experience and knowledge of liquid chromatography (HPLC) or liquid scintillation counting
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Regional Product Sales Specialist - Surgical Oncology (West Coast, East Coast or Central US based)

The Role

The Regional Sales Specialist’s primary responsibilities are to develop and successfully execute sales strategies to ensure achievement of unit volume and revenue goals by focusing on strategic selling opportunities of CareWise C-Trak branded surgical navigation products within an assigned geography.

Large geographic territory across the US. Candidate can reside near any major airport in the west coast, east coast or central territory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, educate and manage accounts in the assigned territory including Breast Surgeons, Surgical Oncologists, General Surgeons, hospitals and surgical centers, Nuclear Medicine, on C-Trak surgical navigation systems.
  • Analyze the designated territory to understand purchasing decision processes, create and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Drive new surgical business, maintain customer relationships, and exceed sales goals to achieve and exceed sales forecasts and targets.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, attend company meetings, training programs and functions as needed.
  • Demonstrate navigation systems and train surgeons/staff in proper use of device during surgical procedures.

Requirements
