The Role

We are seeking an additional member for our development team to design and enhance interesting projects using Delphi 12. 

This role is a full time, office-based position.

This post will be based at Charlotte St in Bath Spa, but includes regularly visiting our Sheffield office, customers in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Write new and improve existing code
  • Work within an existing team and help to drive projects forward
  • Trouble-shooting and debugging

Executive Assistant - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support multiple Directors within our organisation. This is a new role, and as such, we are looking for a dynamic individual who can evolve with the position, helping to manage tasks, schedules, and expectations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities across various departments.

The Responsibilities

  • Assisting in managing the Directors' workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Production Engineer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

You will be joining our friendly and fun production office located on the Sheffield Business Park, where we are responsible for goods in and out and production for LabLogic. Full training will be provided; therefore, prior experience is not essential for this role. However, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear interest in production or engineering disciplines through relevant hobbies, studies, projects, or practical activities and show a strong eagerness to learn and contribute positively to the team.

As a Production Engineer, you will build and test the various instruments we manufacture, from Radio TLC scanners to Radio HPLC detectors and as part of your daily duties, you will visually inspect PCBs being able to fault find down to component level. You will receive training on the specifics of each instrument.

You will also be required to provide technical support to our service department as well as having to collect and deliver parts from our local and national suppliers, using one of the company vehicles.

LabLogic Systems, Inc. - US

Radiopharmacy Sales and Product Specialist - Nationwide Territory US - Virginia (Chantilly based)

The Role

We are seeking a sales and product specialist to be responsible for the sales of instruments and software products to our nuclear medicine customer base. The role involves understanding radiopharmaceutical applications and gaining sufficient knowledge to become a resource for our customers. You will be responsible for planning your own activities, including arranging customer visits, meetings, and providing technical presentations or demonstrations, as well as servicing incoming correspondence and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role requires supporting our existing accounts as well as developing new clients and business opportunities. When not traveling, you would be based at our corporate headquarters in Chantilly, VA. As a small organization, you will need to have initiative, be well presented, a good communicator and have a "hands-on" approach.

  • Service incoming inquiries
  • Provide sales quotations and technical information on LabLogic products
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients by phone, email, Teams and personal visits
  • Attending and presenting at conferences both with colleagues and individually

R&D Engineer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced R&D Engineer to drive products and innovations from prototype to production. In this position, you will be based out of our Sheffield office along with other R&D scientists and engineers both from Southern Scientific and the LabLogic Group. 

You will be responsible for developing a range of exciting and innovative R&D projects. You will be an essential member of the R&D team, delivering cutting-edge engineering projects, pioneering industry-leading technology, and working in an agile engineering team requiring a multiskilled approach whilst ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements.

You will also attend industry-specific conferences aimed at further developing your knowledge of the industry's ongoing work and the challenges our customers are currently facing that we can assist with.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of technical tasks in a deadline-orientated manner
  • Working in partnership with product specialists to define requirements specifications for new products
  • Developing and implementing new electronic hardware and embedded firmware solutions in line with product requirements
  • Taking ownership of the design and development of new electronic hardware and firmware solutions, working with other team members to manage integration, collaborate on problem-solving and provide mutual peer review
  • Carrying out testing and evaluation of all new product developments to ensure robust and comprehensive hardware and firmware solutions
