Software Developer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

We are seeking an additional member for our development team to design and create interesting exciting C# projects within Visual Studio. The candidate must be energetic and ambitious. The candidate will need to work within our existing team and help push the product forward by understanding the customers’ needs and developing the product to a high standard using existing coding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Writing and implementing efficient code.
  • Bug fixes within the existing code base.
  • Liaise with customers over requirements for new development.
  • Understand the customers’ needs and work within a highly regulative industry.
  • Work within an existing team and drive a project forward.

Requirements

  • Excellent C# Knowledge.

Quality Analyst - UK (Sheffield Based)

The Role

Working in the Quality Assurance department at our Head Office in Sheffield, you’ll be working closely with other members of the QA team as well as directly with our Software Developers and Service Engineers. As a software tester you’ll be involved in the final testing of our global leading software products before they are released onto the market, as well as providing feedback from testing performed at key stages throughout the development process. Your role is integral to the creation of our software systems and instrument functionality tests and as such you’ll be seen as the last line of defence before the software is released. In addition, there will be the need to perform customer software validations, either off the shelf or custom made and perform these at the customers’ facilities. In addition as LabLogic Systems has ISO 9001 accreditation across a number of sites, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take part in conducting internal quality audits across the group. However this is a potential secondary role to the main role of testing software.

Responsibilities

To maintain and perform testing on our software following set that have been created and enhanced over many years and are used prior to release. There will also be testing required relating to new functionality to make sure that it is working as intended and any finding reported back to the developers.

It will be the successful candidate’s responsibility to make sure that the software has been tested thoroughly, correctly and that it is safe to be released.

There are a number of projects that are currently being developed and the ability to adapt and switch between projects is essential.

Warehouse Operative/Production Engineer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

You will be joining our small Production team at our office on the Sheffield Business Park where we are responsible for the goods in and out and production for LabLogic. We are proud of our friendly and fun atmosphere at our facility that also houses the company's R&D department and our Field Service Engineers when they are not travelling

As a warehouse operative you will be required to help on the logistic side of the business and support our stock controller. This will involve: checking over goods that arrive; booking them into stock; helping out with monthly stock checks and organizing the stock area as well as carrying out maintenance at both our head office and production facility.

Your role will also involve the building and testing of the various instruments we manufacture, from Radio TLC scanners to Radio HPLC detectors (you will receive training on the specifics of each instrument).

You will also need to do some driving of a van to collect and deliver parts from our local and national suppliers.

Full training will be provided.

LabLogic Inc - US

Project Manager - Radiopharmacy (PETra) - USA

The Role

Due to the success of PETra, our market leading LIMS software for radiopharmaceutical production, we are currently seeking a new support person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in PET/SPECT production and be familiar with FDA regulatory compliance.

The role would come with some international travel and is varied with focus on deployment, training and support of our LIMS software programs.

Requirements

This is a customer facing role with a high level of interaction to advise on numerous technical aspects with respect to implementation, processes and applications. Therefore, the following skills are essential:

  • In-depth knowledge of radiopharmaceutical production processes
  • Understanding of FDA compliance and GMP
  • Ability to work with end users on-site to ensure successful deployments, training and ultimately customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work with the internal PETra development and QA teams to help drive future developments
  • Enhance training materials and provide basic and/or advanced instrumentation and applications training to customers
  • Ability to understand and work with IT teams at customer facilities
