Quality Analyst - UK (Sheffield Based)

The Role

Currently there are two positions available, one located at our Bath office working with the Bath development team and the other position at our Head Office in Sheffield. Both positions will require you to work closely with other members of the QA team as well as directly with our Software Developers and Service Engineers. As a software tester you’ll be involved in the final testing of our global leading software products before they are released onto the market, as well as providing feedback from testing performed at key stages throughout the development process. Your role is integral to the creation of our software systems and instrument functionality tests and as such you’ll be seen as the last line of defence before the software is released. In addition, there will be the need to perform customer software validations, either off the shelf or custom made and perform these at the customers’ facilities. In addition as LabLogic Systems has ISO 9001 accreditation across a number of sites, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take part in conducting internal quality audits across the group. However this is a potential secondary role to the main role of testing software.


To maintain and perform testing on our software following set that have been created and enhanced over many years and are used prior to release. There will also be testing required relating to new functionality to make sure that it is working as intended and any finding reported back to the developers.

It will be the successful candidate’s responsibility to make sure that the software has been tested thoroughly, correctly and that it is safe to be released.

There are a number of projects that are currently being developed and the ability to adapt and switch between projects is essential.

Warehouse Operative/Production Engineer - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

You will be joining our small Production team at our office on the Sheffield Business Park where we are responsible for the goods in and out and production for LabLogic. We are proud of our friendly and fun atmosphere at our facility that also houses the company's R&D department and our Field Service Engineers when they are not travelling

As a warehouse operative you will be required to help on the logistic side of the business and support our stock controller. This will involve: checking over goods that arrive; booking them into stock; helping out with monthly stock checks and organizing the stock area as well as carrying out maintenance at both our head office and production facility.

Your role will also involve the building and testing of the various instruments we manufacture, from Radio TLC scanners to Radio HPLC detectors (you will receive training on the specifics of each instrument).

You will also need to do some driving of a van to collect and deliver parts from our local and national suppliers.

Full training will be provided.

Marketing Communications Executive - UK (Sheffield based)

The Role

The Marketing department is the heartbeat of the multi-award winning LabLogic Group. Working alongside each company within the group, the in-house marketing team supports a wide range of functions from branding, events, campaigns and digital.

In recent years, the marketing team has grown and developed into a key business unit, and we are looking for a talented wordsmith to join the team.

As the Marketing Communications Executive, you will be responsible for delivering the marketing communications plan across 7 brands within their respective markets including the USA and Europe.

You will work in a team of four including a Group Marketing Director, Brand & Events Manager and Digital Marketing Executive. You will be focused on delivering the groups yearly marketing communication plan and achieving product specific campaign targets.

Your words will inform and engage our key target audiences. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a passion for writing and a meticulous approach to grammar and punctuation.

Due to the scientific background to our products, the success of this role depends on your ability to be able to extract information from key stakeholders across the group and present it in a clear and professional manner.

Working in a fast-paced environment you will need the ability to deal with multiple projects and prioritise accordingly.

You will be a people person who can manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

Service Engineer - USA


We are looking a field service engineer to join our service team, preferably based on the West Coast. The candidate will be responsible for providing installation, basic operator training,  field service, validation and technical support to our customers. The position would suit someone with proven FSE experience, or someone looking to move from laboratory work to a FSE role. This is a great opportunity to work with a customer-focused company supporting several niche product lines. This position will be based out of hired candidate's home-based office and will require heavy travel.


  • On-site installation and basic operator training of instruments and software
  • Preventive maintenance, upgrades and repair of our systems
  • Perform validation services (IQ/OQ) of hardware and software
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair products at customer's location
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support
  • Work closely with service director to coordinate schedule and prioritize service needs
  • Assist as needed and as time allows with product demonstrations
  • Prepare service reports and enter work performed in service database in a timely manner
