Managing SOPs and batch records
Skåne University Hospital in Sweden is part of a growing digital transformation in radiopharmacy which is seeing paper systems replaced by LabLogic’s PETra, the trusted LIMS for radiopharmaceuticals. The hospital’s radiopharmacy team is already utilising PETra’s SOPs and inventory modules with plans to further integrate the batch record modules in the near future. The team also intends to expand its use of PETra to cover additional radiopharmaceuticals including 177Lu-DOTATOC for therapeutics.

Prior to implementing PETra, the hospital relied on paper and handwritten notes, a method Erika describes as more prone to human error and lacking the safeguards that PETra provides. “Using such a LIMS makes the work much easier and allows you to do things that paper can’t, for example, automated checks,” she explained.
