The Hidex MUSE x16 is the fastest radiometric microplate counter available for screening and automation. It has been designed to increase both a lab’s throughput and its efficiency.

Featuring 16 parallel PMT detectors, the counter delivers unmatched throughput for 96 and 384 well microplates, processing more samples per hour than any other radiometric microplate counter. The counter is equipped with stackers accommodating up to 48 microplates in one load enabling long, unattended runs to reduce operator workload while maximising results. 

Modern detector electronics offer improved counting efficiency, lower background noise, and higher sensitivity, essential for detecting low radioisotope concentrations. For automated laboratories, the Hidex MUSE x16 will also be available in an external robotic integration configuration.

Microplate Stackers

The Hidex MUSE x16 is equipped with stackers accommodating up to 48 microplates in one load enabling long, unattended runs to reduce operator workload while maximising results. 

FIFO Magazines

First In, First Out. The Hidex MUSE 16x uses conventional, detachable FIFO magazines meaning the first microplate inserted is also the first microplate read, stopping samples from sitting inside unread for long periods.

SBS Standard Microplates

The Hidex MUSE x16 uses SBS standard microplates, allowing it to integrate into existing working laboratory environments.
