Two more votes of confidence

LabLogic Systems has lit up the dark days of winter with a hat trick of successes celebrating high standards in three different areas of its business.
Not content with its victory in the Export Excellence category of the 2005 Sheffield Business Awards, the company went on to achieve recognition for the first time as an Investor In People, and then passed the latest audit of its ISO 9001 quality management system - all in less than two months.
'Although the export award got us the headlines, it is equally important for our customers to know that we are committed to developing the skills of our staff, and that we are well-organised in reviewing and improving the quality standards that we observe in the products and services we supply to them,' said LabLogic managing director Richard Brown.
Amongst the company's strengths highlighted by the Investor In People auditor was the recognition of the importance of training and development by management and staff alike - a feature that was also noted by the ISO 9001 auditor.
LabLogic Systems has had a certified quality management continuously since 1998. Its own ongoing monitoring is supplemented by vendor audits, and it has successfully undergone checks by more than 15 pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies from Europe and the USA in the last five years.
