The LabLogic IN/US β-RAM 4 radio HPLC detector continues its domination of the market throughout 2008 with new installations in Europe, USA and India - the new and emerging market.

Until the end of 2008 radiochromatographers can trade in their existing radio-detector for the new IN/US β-RAM 4 from LabLogic Systems at an attractive price.

Combining ultra-low backgrounds (<4 cpm for 3H and <1 cpm for 14C) with respective counting efficiencies of >60% and >90%, the β-RAM is the most sensitive and most popular on the market and can accommodate the demands made by new 'fast LC' methodologies. It is also the most compact system available.

The standard features of the Model 4 include a flow cell identification system to meet GLP requirements, and a sensor that prevents over-pressure build-up by tripping out above a pre-set point.

Furthermore, as part of the upgrade, each customer will receive a free 4L bottle of the LabLogic FlowLogic 1:1 Flow cocktail, which has become the cocktail of choice for many radiochromatographers due to its high sample uptake, biodegradability and low cost.
