PET LIMS to be demonstrated at nuclear medicine congress

25 September 2009

PET professionals who want to simplify the control of their production facilities will have another opportunity to see a Laboratory Information System tailor-made for their purposes at the 2009 European Association of Nuclear Medicine Annual Congress in Barcelona from the 10th to 14th October.

On stand 80 at the exhibition accompanying the Congress, LabLogic Systems will again be demonstrating its PETra™ LIMS, which was launched at Society of Nuclear Medicine’s Annual Meeting in Toronto back in the summer.

Suitable for all tracer production and QC labs, from research centres to commercial tracer manufacturing suites, PETra™ interfaces with all the equipment in a PET production facility - including cyclotron, synthesis instruments, dose calibrator, balances and pH meter - providing a unique solution for data collection, storage and reporting.

It supersedes laborious and potentially inaccurate manual recording of data for all aspects of the process, producing instead a single batch report for all stages - production set-up, material preparation, each stage of synthesis and final release of the product.

Since the official launch of PETra™ there has been tremendous interest in the system in Europe, the USA and Australia and demonstrations have been conducted either via web presentations or in person. The benefit that a demonstration brings to the potential user is a ‘’visual feel’’ of how PETra™ can be implemented. What is more, users are also encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas on further functionalities that can be added to PETra™ to make it a more complete system.

Please email solutions@lablogic.com to organise your demonstration if you won't be at the EANM.
