PETra becomes a global success

LabLogic's PET LIMS system PETra is proving to be a global hit following successful installations in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, the UK and the US.

Product specialist Elvir Zahirovic believes this success can be attributed to the continued development of PETra. 'Here at LabLogic we are committed to developing our products in order to exceed the industry standard. With PETra we have worked tirelessly with users and potential customers to ensure that it is right for them. We are always looking to gather feedback to make those small changes that really make PETra unique.'

User Groups are a productive environment for generating the type of feedback which is helping to drive this development. LabLogic held a dedicated PETra User Group earlier this year, just prior to the annual meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in St Louis. “The event was a great success,” said Elvir. “It enabled the software development team to engage with a number of customers at one location as well as provide an ideal opportunity for users to talk about their experiences of using the system and exchange views and ideas with other users.”

Plans are already being formulated for the next PETra User Meeting which it is hoped will be held next year just before the EANM15 event in Hamburg, Germany.
