LabLogic raise money to sponsor a consultation room at the Children’s Hospital

 LabLogic Systems, an award winning company based in Broomhill Sheffield, recently reached their goal of raising over £5000 to sponsor a new consultation room on the new wing of the Children’s Hospital.

The company gave staff members from the Sheffield and Bath office a day off over two consecutive years, in order to complete the fund raising challenges. Lablogic also match funded any money raised by staff members and their families.

In 2014, 34 staff members, friends and family completed a 14 miles sponsored hire through the Derbyshire countryside raising a total of £3,242. This year the company completed another walk this time around Redmires Reservoir and across part of Hallam Moors to bring the total to £5,952.

As a local business who operate in the international medical environment we thought it would be great to give something back. It was a unanimous decision for all involved to support the Children’s Hospital Charity.

The walks over the past two years have been a great event for all involved, it takes people out of their usual work environment and creates a real feel good factor."
