LabLogic to exhibit at Drug Discovery 2016
10 October 2016
LabLogic will be demonstrating the Sense at ELRIG Drug Discoery 2016 in Liverpool from the 13th - 14th October.
A compact, state-of-the-art, multi-technology microplate reader, the Hidex Sense provides a powerful and flexible platform for performing any kind of assay without limitations. Indeed, the Beta Plus version of the Sense uniquely combines liquid scintillation counting (LSC) with all common non-radiometric measurements, such as fluorescence and absorbance, into one very compact unit.
The dedicated PMT detector for LSC is also utilised to obtain ultra-high sensitivity luminescence for demanding applications and for reducing reagent use in assays such as dual luciferase. Certainly, the Sense is considered to be the most sensitive plate reader on the market for luminescence. Using the low noise and highly sensitive PMT for liquid scintillation counting allows the Sense to be extremely sensitive for luminescence. In fact it is around 10 times better than standard luminescence and a powerful tool for the most demanding assays.
But don't just take our word for it, see for yourself at ELRIG Drug Discovery 2016 in Liverpool. We'll be there demonstrating the instrument which has won the technology prize twice at previous ELRIG events. If you prefer you can book an appointment in advance or simply call by our stand on the day to see the Sense in action.
