Produce quantitative data at scale
The Hidex 600 SLe is an advanced LSC designed to count a large number of samples with exceptionally high counting efficiency. It is the ideal solution for producing reliable quantitative data at scale by loading up to 500 small vials, 210 large, or a combination of both.
The counter features a cooling conveyor to cool samples to 5 °C below ambient room temperature in normal laboratory conditions. The conveyor’s lid is insulated to retain the target temperature for stable sample loading.
Absolute counting method
As well as an impressive capacity, Hidex counters are highly sensitive by employing three photomultiplier tubes (PMT). Unlike conventional LSCs that use two detectors, the Hidex 600 SLe employs a triple-detector configuration to enable Triple-to-Double Coincidence Ratio (TDCR) counting. This absolute counting method eliminates the need for external calibration sources, improving safety while making it easier to maintain.
GLP compliance
LabLogic’s Laura is compatible with the Hidex 600 SLe. Laura is the industry’s leading software for instrument control and data analysis, and compliant with Good Laboratory Practice and 21 CFR Part 11. It allows users to be allocated security levels and provides a full audit trail. Captured data is stored in a secure database that can only be accessed via the password protected software.
For the greatest possible compliance, an optional QR code reader can identify each vial with the data directly populated into LabLogic’s drug metabolism and eFate LIMS, Debra. This provides a complete chain of custody and means vials can be loaded in any order.
Reduced background with the Super Low Level
The 600 SLe is also available in a Super Low Level model for challenging measurements of particularly low levels of radioactivity. It is equipped with additional lead shielding, low-level PMT detectors, and active guard detectors for further background reduction. It is ideal for measuring 3H in water as well as other applications such as low-level environmental monitoring, radiocarbon dating, and biofuel verification applications.
