An integrated radio-HPLC system designed specifically for 18F-FDG

The Logi-CHROM FDG is engineered exclusively for the radiochemical purity testing of 18F-FDG. Informed by LabLogic’s extensive experience in delivering radio-HPLC instruments, this streamlined solution integrates all essential components into one single solution.

The system houses an isocratic pump, semi-automatic injector, column storage and helium sparging in one unit, and uses the Flow-RAM 2 radiodetector which sits adjacent. An electrochemical detector maintains a simplified footprint, while Laura Radiopharma software provides regulatory compliance and intuitive user control.

Minimal Maintenance

Because of a reduced number of components, the Logi-CHROM FDG lowers ongoing maintenance costs while still delivering the full functionality of a traditional radio-HPLC system.

Simple Setup

Ongoing maintenance costs are reduced − due to fewer parts being used − whilst retaining the same level of functionality as a traditional equivalent system.

Complete Control

As with all LabLogic instruments, the Logi-CHROM FDG is controlled by Laura Radiopharma, the industry’s leading radiochromatography software for data collection and analysis, which integrates seamlessly with PETra and SPECTra LIMS.

Plug-and-Play

The Logi-CHROM FDG can simply be placed on a bench, plugged into the optionally supplied workstation and put to use.

Components

Isocratic Pump

The Logi-CHROM FDG is supplied with a bio-inert isocratic (ceramic) pump as standard. No need to passivate.

Optimal Flow Rate Range 0.1 - 8.0 ml/min.
Flow Rate Increment 0.001 ml/min.
Maximum Delivery Pressure Bio-inert (ceramic): 5800 psi / 40 MPa / 400 bar for 10 ml head

EC Detector

LabLogic’s electrochemical detector utilizes Pulsed Amperometric Detection (PAD), providing highly sensitive and selective analysis of electroactive compounds. The detector is Faraday shielded and temperature controlled, allowing the column and flow cell to maintain a precise and stable temperature. Its Advanced Digital Filter (ADF) enhances the signal-to-noise ratio, improving detection limits by up to a factor of 200, depending on operating conditions.

The EC detector uses the SenCell, an entirely new and highly sensitive flow cell for electrochemical detection in HPLC in which the working volume can be adjusted to optimize sensitivity and signal-to-noise performance.

Sample Injector

A semi-automatic injector controlled by Laura Radiopharma ensures the sample is fully loaded and reduces finger dose.

Radiodetector

The Logi-CHROM FDG uses the Flow-RAM 2 radiodetector with a 1" NaI detector and 2" lead shield. It is temperature controlled for fixed stable operating temperatures to deliver consistent performance.

Integrated Helium Sparging

The ET 210 eluent tray blankets all LC mobile phases with an inert helium gas atmosphere in an easy and effective way.

Thermostatic Column Compartment

An optional thermostatic column compartment module can be added to the system.

Complete control

The Logi-CHROM FDG is controlled by Laura Radiopharma, the industry’s standard software for instrument control and data analysis, which integrates seamlessly with PETra and SPECTra LIMS.

Audit trail

Laura Radiopharma has a fully featured audit trail that can be configured to suit the requirements of the user’s site. Response from the user can be a simple as choosing from a predefined list of standard audit reasons or require a unique response depending on the situation and site rules.

Access levels

Laura Radiopharmacy features multi-level access control, and the system can be configured to have as many levels of access as the user’s site requires. Menu items are then restricted according to the security level of the individual logged in.

Electronic signatures

Laura Radiopharma supports the use of electronic signatures, and the system can be configured to suit the user sites requirements for electronic data.

Data integrity

Regulatory compliance is an essential feature of Laura Radiopharmacy, built to meet GLP/GMP, FDA 21 CFR part 212 / 11, and EU Annex 11 requirements. Featuring configurable audit trail, electronic signatures, secure data storage in a database environment and multi-level security, Laura Radiopharma can be configured to meet regulatory requirements for data integrity.

Security settings

Laura Radiopharma can be configured to suit your particular site requirements for security. Usernames and passwords can be controlled relative to the site requirements as can inactivity time outs and all other functions required for a secure system.
