Nuclide ID
Laura Radiopharma’s Nuclide ID function allows users to simultaneously test radionuclidic identification via a half-life measurement and radionuclidic purity using the Scan-RAM 2 MCA. By measuring decay every 1 second at the same time as performing gamma spectrometry on one sample, a decay chain is visualised on screen in real-time, providing dozens of datapoints within minutes to automatically identify radionuclides.

The Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon is the first user of the Scan-RAM 2 MCA and is affiliated to the UNICANCER group, a network of 18 centres dedicated to cancer research treatment in France. These centres are hospitals as well as research and training sites.
