Getting radio-chromatographers' needs in focus
7 December 2006
Flow-through radiochemical detection specialist LabLogic Systems has run a series of focus groups during the autumn to gauge the likely future needs of customers.
For the convenience of participants, the sessions coincided with the company's in-house seminars showcasing the latest developments in its software and instrumentation at key centres for drug metabolism and contract research throughout the UK and Europe.
'Listening to what the customer has to say at events such as our regular User Group meetings has been a fundamental part of LabLogic's philosophy from the beginning, but the pace of change in the industry is now so rapid that taking more frequent soundings is essential,' says sales manager Duncan Carmichael.
'Because we specialise in a very specific sector of the market, we have more direct contact with those who use our products than bigger companies with a much broader remit, and the focus groups are an effective means of continuing and enhancing that on-going dialogue.'
