Quotient upgrade to the latest LabLogic software
27 March 2012
LabLogic is pleased to announce that Quotient Bioresearch has upgraded to the latest Debra version 5.7.10 and Laura version 4.1.3 platforms for its radiolabelled metabolism studies and radiochromatography work.
The company which had been using LabLogics software for over 10 years decided to upgrade to improve efficiency, data robustness, and speed of delivery to customers. The combination of the two upgraded systems allows improved integration of chromatographic and quantitative radiochemical data. Total mass balance data is aggregated within Debra LIMS whereas the combination of chromatographic (Laura) evaluation and total sample analysis provides the integrated framework for reporting metabolite concentrations and proportions of total administered dose.
Quotient has also moved its Laura data storage to the more secure Oracle database option as well as purchasing the latest B-RAM Model 5 with Active Counting Mode for its more sensitive low activity samples.
Stephen Lewinton, Managing Director of Chemistry and Metabolism commented The upgrade to the latest LabLogic software will further improve the quality and speed of reporting from our metabolism scientists. We chose to use LabLogics validation services for the upgrade which enabled a smooth and seamless transition between versions.
Quotient is another example of a world class CRO using LabLogics Debra software in a range of study environments from Phase 1 clinical first in man; soil and plant metabolism work; dermal penetration and preclinical ADME, said Huw Loaring, LabLogics Systems Director. We are pleased to have them upgraded to our latest platforms and look forward to a continuing partnership.
