HIVIZ purchase Hidex 300 SL

The revolutionary Hidex 300 SL liquid scintillation counter has been purchased by an American company that produce gun sights.

 

Based in Wyoming, HIVIZ Shooting Systems manufacture gun sights which include tritium radioluminescence to create a light source, therefore require an instrument to test products before shipping to customers as well as wipe testing the lab.

 

HIVIZ chose the Hidex 300 SL due to the compact size and sample capacity, but also due to the TDCR technology. They can view the triple count spectrum which indicates true radioactivity, in comparison to traditional liquid scintillation counters which just have a double count spectrum which is susceptible to luminescence.
