The remote installation included Logi-CHROM HPLC, Flow-RAM, Scan-RAM MCA and iPhase
Based in the heart of Vienna, Minute Medical is a privately owned small company enabling nuclear medicine therapeutical applications in a unique out-patient setting.
Minute Medical holds licences to prepare and apply radiopharmaceuticals labelled with Lu-177, Ra-223 and Ac-225.
In September 2020, LabLogic completed a fully remote installation of the Logi-CHROM HPLC, Flow-RAM radio-HPLC Detector, Scan-RAM MCA radio-TLC Scanner and Multichannel Analyser and iPhase Multi-synthesis Radiosynthesizer.
Full traceable radio synthesis and radiopharmaceutical quality control
Wolfgang Wadsak, PhD, is Radiochemist and Certified Radiopharmacist; Production and Laboratory Manager at Minute Medical:
“Preparation and quality control of [177Lu]Lu-PSMA-I&T is currently prepared on demand.
“The iPhase MultiSyn is used for the automated and fully traceable radiosynthesis; LabLogic's HPLC and TLC/MCA solutions are used for the radiopharmaceutical quality control.”
Why LabLogic?
Wolfgang said: “LabLogic is the best in class, one provider for all requirements and the best value for money.
“The software for HPLC and TLC/MCA is versatile but easy to operate and the set-up was straight forward. The system is robust and provides reliable, reproducible results.
“The service from LabLogic has been fabulous and we have received excellent support – the team are proactive and I knew I could always call and get an answer immediately."
Completing a remote installation
Due to challenges faced by COVID-19, the Minute Medical remote installation encompassed step by step videos and online support from our UK-based engineers.
Wolfgang added: “The remote installation was a bit of a challenge - but due to the great support by the LabLogic team it was successfully manageable!”
