Compact in vivo small animal scintigraphy system
16 January 2007
LabLogic Systems is offering a compact, benchtop camera suitable for in vivo scintigraphy of rodents and other small animals at a fraction of the cost of larger systems.
The Biospace Gamma Imager has a 10 cm diameter field of view, a high spatial resolution of 2 mm (the best available) and a minimal footprint of 18 cm diameter x 31 cm height; all at an affordable price that makes it ideal for radiopharmaceutical development and pharmacokinetics.
The Gamma Imager can be used with all gamma isotopes between 15 and 250 keV at a sensitivity of 600 cpm/mCi. Two collimators are supplied, for high-resolution or high-speed imaging. Intrinsic crystal sensitivity is 64% at 140 keV and energy resolution is 11%, both of which are compatible with dual-labelling techniques.
The system is supplied with a sophisticated image analysis software package and an acquisition workstation including Windows 2000/XP. Data can be exported under DICOM, interfile or list formats.
