New guide to radiation monitors

LabLogic Systems has published a new 'at-a-glance' guide to its radiation contamination monitors for detecting radioisotopes commonly used in research laboratories.

Using a clear tabular format, the leaflet gives an overview of the sensitivities, detection efficiencies and technical specifications of all four models in the Rad-Monitor range.

It also provides guidance on which of the monitors is suitable for detecting more than 30 common radionuclides.

All of the GM monitors are suitable for detection of ¹⁴C, ³²P, ³³P and ³⁵S. The GM2 and GM2-P are particularly useful for checking hands, clothing, and bench-tops while the SD10 is suitable for monitoring of ¹²⁵I , ³²P and many others.
