PETra's first installation in Poland at the Medical University of Białystok
PETra continues to establish itself as the leading QC management solution for PET production facilities around the world with its first installation in Poland. Delivered in partnership with our Polish distributors at IRtech, PETra has been chosen by the Medical University of Białystok. Here it will be used at the Department of Biopharmacy and Radiopharmacy in quality control of radiopharmaceuticals labelled with Gallium-68, used in preclinical and clinical studies.
The department is moving into a new facility in 2023, where PETra will be used to manage the QC data for Ga-68 batches, as well as the cyclotron, production units, and dispensing isolators. With this latest installation, Białystok joins other leading PET centres that have recently implemented PETra, such as the Turku PET Centre in Finland and Skåne and Sahlgrenska University Hospitals in Sweden.
