What is the difference between Flow-RAM and Dual Flow-RAM?
The single system is a single radio-HPLC detector. The dual instrument, is two radio-HPLC detectors in one box, each working independently of each other, yet simultaneously.
Why would I choose a Dual Flow-RAM?
The reasons when you would chose a Dual Flow-RAM would be if you wanted to minimise space used by the radio HPLC detectors, and save money when investing in the instrument. For most customers, the Single Flow-RAM meets the requirements.
What happens if a component stops working In the Dual Scan-RAM?
The electronics in the Dual Scan-RAM are separate for radio-TLC and radio-HPLC.
In the unlikely event that one set of electronics develops a fault, the use of the radio-HPLC, or radio-TLC depending upon what happens, would not be affected.
Which radio HPLC systems is the Flow-RAM compatible with?
The Flow-RAM is compatible with all commercially available radio HPLC systems
Can I take the signal from other detectors into Laura and via Flow-RAM?
Yes you can. The Flow-RAM has a built in A-D converter and as such accommodates signals from a range of other detectors such as UV, RID, ECD etc.

Synthesising and validating [18-F]PARPi
A Logi-CHROM with a Flow-RAM has recently been installed at Essen University Hospital’s Clinic for Nuclear Medicine. The system was procured to complement the clinic’s existing suite of HPLC instruments to increase capacity for a growing team of radiochemists.
Anna Pacelli carries out postdoctoral research at the radiopharmacy into the automation and validation of radiopharmaceuticals for clinical use, specifically [18F]PARPi which was originally developed in the United States but had no automation and scale-up. Anna uses the Logi-CHROM and Flow-RAM for synthesis and optimises the radiolabelling and quality control, explaining why it was chosen over other HPLC solutions.

CHU Grenoble Alpes, France
Validating Analytical Methods in the development of Lutetium-177-PSMA-1
Grenoble University Hospital (CHU Grenoble Alpes) and Grenoble Alpes University (UGA) have used LabLogic’s instruments to submit an Investigational Medicinal Product Dossier (IMPD) for a new radiopharmaceutical labelled with Lutetium-177. A validation dossier for Analytical Methods has been produced to assess the radiochemical purity of 177Lu-PSMA-1 using the Flow-RAM for Radio-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (r-HPLC) and Scan-RAM for Radio-Thin Layer Chromatography (r-TLC).

Developing PET agents for clincial studies
The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre is one of the largest cancer hospitals in the world and focuses on treating patients with advanced modalities and developing novel treatments. Its Radiochemistry and Imaging Sciences Service (RISS, 12 Faculty) in the Department of Radiology is dedicated to developing novel radiolabelled probes of diagnostic and therapeutic applications using LabLogic instruments.

Grenoble Hospital, France
QC of radiolabelled PET molecules after HPLC separation
Two healthcare organisations in Grenoble, France, are using LabLogic’'s Laura radio-chromatography system and instrumentation sourced from the same company to enhance their ability to work closely together.
The nuclear medicine service at Grenoble Hospital has a Flow-RAM radio HPLC detector for PET and SPECT applications, while the nuclear biophysics laboratory of INSERM (France’s national institute of health and medical research) at the city'’s medical college has a Gamma-RAM radio-HPLC detector for soft and intermediate gamma emitters. The laboratory also undertakes PET and SPECT work using the dual-purpose Scan-RAM radio TLC / HPLC scanner.
