LabLogic celebrates record year for PETra PET LIMS
2020 proved to be a difficult year as we adapted to life with COVID-19. Although faced with many new challenges such as remote working, travel restrictions and multiple lockdowns, we are excited to share some positive news.
We celebrated a record-breaking year for PETra sales in 2020; our market-leading PET LIMS software. This year the following institutions have chosen PETra to improve efficiency and compliance in PET facilities.

We announced our biggest UK PET project to date
In October 2020, we announced a partnership with the brand new Molecular Imaging Research Centre (MIRC) in Hull. The project involves supplying a complete PET QC solution including Tracer-QC, PETra and SPECTra to the MIRC, which is aiming to lead internationally in the diagnosis of cancer and heart disease.
Adapting to COVID-19 restrictions with remote installs
Due to the pandemic, the PETra team has been unable to travel for PETra installations but this has not stopped us from completing as many projects as possible. We completed a remote IQ for Sykehusapotek Nord HF, a hospital in Norway, as well as completing remote installations, upgrades and training sessions for customers around the world.
We have worked closely with customers to make sure that all of their needs are met throughout the last year and appreciate the support from our customers to help them work through these ever-changing times.

The PETra Advisory Committee was launched
This year we launched the PETra Advisory Committee, a group created to drive forward the development of PETra collaboratively with key users.
Elvir Zahirovic, Sales Director and PETra Product Manager, said: “PETra has always been a customer-driven solution. The launch of the Advisory Committee consolidates years of working directly with users on the development of PETra.
“The PETra Advisory Committee formalises the existing collaboration between LabLogic and PETra users and will be an official open forum to help steer and drive new developments in the functionality of PETra.”
The first meeting took place in July where we met (virtually!) and the next meeting is planned for early 2021. Read more here.
